Eriya used to farm on hired land but after two good harvests he was able to buy his own land. Unpredictable weather changes and price fluctuations affect his farming activities.

Eriya is requesting a loan to buy Irish potatoes to plant. He is a member of the loan group "Rwenyonyozi Bakyaara Tweimuke" and each group member will hold each other accountable for repaying the loan. In the future, Eriya's dream is to venture into mechanized agriculture.
