Chreb, age 30, is a farmer. She has been growing agricultural crops and vegetables for more than seven years, earning approximately $8 daily. Her husband helps her run the business. They live with their two children in Kandal Province, Cambodia.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Chreb is requesting a loan of $800 to purchase a motorcycle to use for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family.
In the future, she would like to purchase vegetables in the village to sell at the market for additional income. She also hopes to be able to send her children to a good school. Moreover, she plans to build a new house for the family as soon as possible.
