La Victoria Group's story

This communal bank is called "The Victory" to honor the day-by-day struggle to survive. This group is in its 10th loan cycle, and they have succeeded through the unity of all the members.

Señora Rosa, who is the president, tells us that with great effort and sacrifice she helps her family and is paying the day-to-day expenses. She sells every type of food, such as empanadas, sandwiches, croquettes, and other items. She has a good customer base, since all her products are very good, and this helps her a lot. Her goal is to some day have a big fast food counter and thus continue to delight her customers.

She is applying for the loan to purchase eggs, flour, meat, condiments, and other ingredients that she needs so that she can continue with her work. She is thankful for the opportunity that she and her friends receive from Kiva and Fundación Paraguaya.
