Ana Lucia's story

Ana Lucia is 38 years old and married with three children. She is a shopkeeper who sells various products. Ana is from Chinandega, a place characterized as a productive commercial zone, with hardworking, humble people, who are always fighting to get ahead. While living in poverty with few resources, Ana has been able to acquire some land and with her own strength she has begun the construction of walls for a small house. However because of the lack of resources she has not been able to finish. Ana is requesting a loan to complete part of her dreams and personal goals. With the financing she will buy construction materials like zinc, cement, iron, lime, wire, rafter supports, wood, paint, blocks, and sand, among others. Ana would like to thank the lenders of Kiva who lend to people with scare resources from developing countries like Nicaragua. The photo shows Ana indicating the construction she needs to finish in order to give her small children more protection.
