Naira's story

Naira lives in Goghtanik village with her husband, Grigor, and a little 1-year-old daughter, Gayane. Naira's husband works at the village hall, but his salary is not enough to make ends meet. So the couple also runs a farm, where they raise sheep and chickens and grow different fruit trees (walnut, cherry, apple, peach and pear).

Naira has applied for this loan to increase their number of sheep. The sale of sheep meat forms an important part of their income; so, by increasing their sheep, Naira will be able to make more income. It is important for this young and enthusiastic couple to cover costs and invest in the further development of their farm.
