Erlinda of Sibugon Lopez, Lopez Jaena helps her family through her pot-making business. She’s a 58-year-old married mom of five kids, who tries her best to earn on her own. For five years, she has managed this pottery business and earns about 5,500 PHP per month.
Right now, she needs to buy more clay to be used in her business. She joined GDMPC in 2009 and thanks GDMPC micro-finance for the loan of 10,000 PHP they are providing her. Erlinda desires to improve her business in the future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
