A loan of $775 helped to buy more supplies, snacks and soft drinks for his store.

Vicente's story

Vicente is 66, hard-working and eager to grow his business. He lives with Elva, the mother of his 3 children, all of whom live independently. Now they live alone in their own home.

He runs a small store out of his home where he sells snacks, drinks and basic supplies. He has run the store for more than three years, and has a solid following of customers. He is assisted in the business by his wife. He likes running the store, being at home, and is able to take care of his wife, who is in delicate health. He is also able to earn enough to cover household expenses. Having seen good results with his store, he now plans to buy greater quantities and vareity of products to sell.

This is his seventh credit with MFP and he is very satisfied with his lender's services; he is committed to prompt repayment to maintain a good credit record and to continue to access funds in the future.

With this loan of 2000 nuevos soles, he will stock more products for his business. These will be basic supplies such as rice, sugar, oil, snacks, soft drinks, bought at wholesale prices in order to maximize profits.
