A loan of $400 helped to buy additional boxes of soft drinks to sustain sales.

Alexandra's story

Alexandra is 21, hard-working and pleasant, and shows great enthusiasm for attaining success. She is single and without children, and lives in her parents' home with them and her two sisters.
Her business is selling soft drinks. For this activity, she has a freezer to store the drinks at cool temperatures, to give her clients relief from the hot climate. Two years ago she began with her own money using the freezer. When she is not home, her mother assists with serving customers. She enjoys her business and helping her parents with household expenses, as her father's income was not sufficient. She has now increased her working capital and is seeing her business grow little by little, and she has plans to open an eatery.

This is her third credit from MFP, and she is committed to prompt repayment, as she has with prior loans. She feels comfortable as a member of her communal lender, and considers her colleagues responsible and supportive.
With this credit of 1000 nuevos soles, she will invest in buying new varieties and brands of soft drinks, in greater volumes of boxes to maximize profits.
