A loan of $2,225 helped a member to buy two superior piglets.

Putri Mandiri Group's story

Ni Ketut and all members of Putri Mandiri agreed to continue to have a loan for their businesses. They still need a loan to develop a business of raising pigs. They will stop borrowing when they have enough savings for their own capital.

With full support from her children who worked as farmers, Ni Ketut will use the loan to buy two superior piglets for 500,000 IDR each. The remainder of the loan will be used to buy food. By keeping the pigs for fattening, Ni Ketut hopes there will be an increase in profits. For everyday needs, Ni Ketut gets things from her garden. Her business also sells the means worship for Hindus.
