A loan of $775 helped to fit out her dental lab and to buy cosmetics and soft drinks in order to continue selling.

Linda's story

Linda, age 41, has four children, ages 17, 15, 10, and 2. She has known her life partner, Abel, for 20 years. They all live in their own house, which they built with a great deal of work.

She is an assistant in the clinic that she and Abel set up eight years ago. She is actively involved in treating ailments, dental discomfort, or simply helping to improve a person’s appearance with a lovely smile. She works at her life partner’s side, and they have a rented place close to their house.

She also sells soft drinks, cosmetics, and personal care items to her friends, family, and acquaintances. She really likes her business activity. It allows her to carry out her roles in an organized manner. Also, it generates good income thanks to the multiple sales she makes daily. Even though it is now going well for her, it was not always this way. She had to endure a lot in order to be able to have what she now has. She hopes to continue working in order to be able to continue progressing.

This is her 16th loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she has financial support and that she is given the opportunity to continue advancing with her business. She pledges, once more, to make her payments punctually as she has done with the previous loans.

She affirms that she is pleased to be part of her communal bank because all of the members are very responsible and very supportive people.

She will use the requested 2,000 soles to buy amalgamates, veneers, and porcelain to fit out her dental lab. She will also buy cosmetics and perfume products to have in stock and ten cases of soft drinks in order to continue selling at home.
