A loan of $1,500 helped to buy fodder to improve the nutrition of her cattle.

Felicidad's story

Felicidad is 53 years old and married to Cervando, and together they have 3 children, two of whom are independent, while their youngest daughter is studying a technical career. Felicidad lives in the town of La Villain the province of Punata, where they live in their own home, and her principal activity is the production of raw milk. She has several head of cattle for milking, whose products she takes to a company that is involved in the production of dairy products, and her husband works in agriculture. In the same region where they live, they have several parcels of agricultural land which produce onions, potatoes, and broad beans. In spite of their age, they continue to work long hours.

The intended purpose of the loan is for buying fodder, since it's the time of year when there is a scarcity of natural fodder, and what her customer wants is an increase in production, and in this way she will avoid a shortage of fodder during the dry months and her cattle will have the same nutrition and continue to produce the same amount of milk. Among her goals is to see her daughter find a white-collar career for that she will have a better quality of life.
