A loan of $1,150 helped to improve coffee cultivation.

Prudencio Fredy's story

Fredy is 27 years old and lives in Valle Tunari, a town near Ivirgarzama. He studied up to the first year of intermediate school because his mother did not have enough money for him to continue studying. He has been married for four years and is the father of two children. He and his wife are dedicated to helping and supporting their children with their education. He has been working as an independent farmer for five years and for the past six years, he has been driving a vehicle and providing private passenger service on the weekends in order to increase their family income. His wife helps him generate income by working on the farm. They cultivate yucca, rice, and coffee annually to sell at the local market. The client is requesting the loan to continue coffee cultivation. This will increase coffee production and income, and in this way, help him to have a better standard of living
