A loan of $975 helped to buy merchandise to stock her store and also to buy animal feed.

Rufina's story

Rufina, 47, is separated and has two dependent children. She lives in her own house with her two children. The community she lives in belongs to the rural part of Tambogrande District that already has electricity.

The activity she carries out is selling groceries, soft-drinks and snacks; she’s been in business two years which has made her well-known in the zone and she currently has a stable clientele. She also raises pigs that she buys when they are little to fatten up and then sell; she has ample experience.

Rufina is asking for a 2500 new sol loan to buy more merchandise for her store, especially basic staple items, soft-drinks and snacks. She also wants to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed. With this investment she will be able to provide her children with a better quality of life and be able to move them forward.

Rufina very much wants to get ahead and to grow as a businesswoman and as a single mother. Her children are her reason to live and she strives for them daily. Nothing would make her happier than to see them become upstanding citizens. She gives thanks in advance for the support provided.
