A loan of $775 helped to buy balanced feed for her small livestock.

Leticia Blanca's story

Leticia is 41, married, and has two children in her care. She lives with her husband and children in their own house. The house is located in Tambogrande, in Piura province in northern Peru. The client lives in the rural part of the district and has no electricity service. Between her and her family, they support one another in moving forward.

Leticia in particular works raising small livestock: sheep, goats and pigs. When they reach ideal weight and size, she sells them at the local market. She has more than ten years in the business, and has become a crucial part of her family's livelihood. In the meantime, her husband is a farmer; with his own piece of land, where he has planted mango, and staple crops such as vegetables.

He also has steady work on a farm. The two of them live in harmony, and demonstrate that despite humble circumstances, it is possible to live in a home, with vitality and a vision for the future.

With this in mind, she is requesting a loan of 2000 soles for the purchase of balanced feed for her small livestock.
