Octavia's story

Octavia is a 39 year old person, who is married and finished studying through primary school, and she lives in a house of her own with six dependents, which are her children. Her primary economic activity ad that of her family is in agriculture, and their principal crops are potatoes, broad beans, peas, and barley, which they grow on the property she inherited from her parents. They are situated in the communities of Toralapa Baja and Pucara Grande in the municipality of Tíraque about 70 Kilometers distance from the city of Cochabamba.

Sra. Octavia and her family state that they are hardworking and responsible people who want to be successful, and they want to continue increasing their agricultural production, and for this to happen, they need to have more investment capital to buy chicken manure for fertilizer and seed potatoes, which is their primary crop. In this way, they will be able to improve their quality of life for their dependents.
