Margarita, 56, is single and has no children but she cares for her oldest sister’s daughter. She lives in the city of Cochabamba’s Punata Province and still lives in her mother’s house. She supports and cares for her mother who was widowed several years ago. Her main activity is raw milk production. She owns dairy cattle and sells the milk to a firm that makes dairy products.

The loan will be used to buy forage because it’s scarce this time of year and Margarita wants to acquire it so that she can continue feeding her cattle and producing the same amount of milk. Among her goals is to continue caring for her mother for the rest of her life and that her niece attains a professional career so that she can have a better standard of living.
