Meet the Jesús Pan de Vida communal bank, which is starting its 15th cycle. The nine participants have demonstrated responsibility and solidarity with their colleagues. They have been improving their businesses with time.

This time you will learn a little more about Carmen. She is 42 years old, married, and has two children. She continues to support one of her children in the study of dentistry. With the jobs she did and with help from her husband, she was able to undertake her own business. She has had a grocery store in her home for over one year. Little by little she has been able to set up her business. This way she has come to have loyal customers.

She will use loan to buy merchandise like rice, sugar, milk, and cooking oil, etc. in order to stock her store.
