A loan of $375 helped to buy farm supplies.

Justiniano's story

Justiniano, 29, lives in Morazán, Yoro, with his spouse and their four children. Justiniano has been working in his own agriculture business for five years, mainly growing coffee. He has two manzanas [Central American unit of land measurement] of land planted with coffee. He sells his harvests in the local market. His farm has improved and profits from the previous loan were reinvested in the farm. He currently needs to fertilize and apply manure to the crops again for which he needs another 7,000 lempira loan. He hopes the farm will improve and his harvests will be good. His goal is to expand and improve production to give his children a better future.
