Alberto's story

Alberto is 40 years old. His wife is Flavia, with whom he has three children.

He is a farmer who plants mostly corn, peas, potatoes and lettuce. He has been doing this activity for 20 years and says that he is almost an expert in growing peas and corn. He has had problems while doing his job, like adapting to the schedules that the community designated for using water to irrigate his crops. Sometimes his turn is before dawn, but with his hard work he meets his goals. His wife raises guinea pigs and is visited by buyers who go to the house to buy these little animals. Now he is planning on improving the quality of his crops to obtain more profits and thus offer a good future to his children.

This is loan number 4 with MFP and like the other members, he is very responsible in the meetings and activities of the “Nueva Esperanza - Huaylahuichán” communal bank that he belongs to.

Alberto will plant three bags of pea seeds on four land parcels that he has already prepared. With the money from this loan, he will have enough to buy three sacks of fertilizer.
