A loan of $1,150 helped to pay school fees.

Nayda Yony's story

Nayda, 36, has a spouse and is studying Gastronomy. The full course is a three-year program and she’s completed one year since she started. She has her own restaurant where she works alongside her spouse generating income to cover household and school costs. Nayda’s objective is to open a chain of restaurants to get ahead that way. She is inspired to reach her goals by her two children who give her the strength to stand out in life. One of her greatest challenges is to be able to work and go to school at the same time but she relates that there can be no excuses or reasons to stop striving toward our goals. Nayda used the loan to pay for her courses paying them off in order not to worry about having to pay them at the end of each month. She is grateful to Kiva lenders for the great opportunity she’s getting to be able to reach her goals.
