Elmuraz is 47 years old. He is married and lives in a small village of Marneuli District with his wife – Dilara and their 16-year-old son. The family owns 0.30 hectare of land, where strawberries are grown. They sell harvested product on the local open market. In addition, to the family agricultural business, Elmuraz works at the stone quarry as a worker and gets a fee for the work, and his son is busy with trading.
Elmuraz’s son wants to increase his stock in trade and so they requested a loan. He will offer a wide assortment of household products to the customers and increase his sales, and, consequently, his profit. He will reinvest part of the profit in the same business, and the other part will be used for improving family living conditions.
