Rowena is 47 years old and lives in the Philippines with her husband and eight children. She earns a living by running a food/retail (or sari-sari) store where she buys and sells canned goods, snacks, personal care items, home use products and beverages. She has been in business for six years, and is requesting a loan for PHP 5,000 to buy more items to sell to her customers. Rowena joined HSPFI earlier this year as way to improve her business and pay for the education of her children.
