Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Urozali's story

Urozali lives in the Yavan district. He is 61 years old. Urozali is a father of six children and lives with his wife. Two of his sons left home for work. Urozali and his wife are involved in growing agricultural crops. Besides this, Urozali is involved in buying and selling cattle. He primarily buys livestock at a low price, raises it, then takes it to a market after several months and sells it at a more advantageous price. Urozali has been involved in this business for 22 years. He is requesting this loan to buy several calves and bulls for subsequent resale.
