Rahel's Peace Group's story

Rahel is married with five children. She has been selling fruit and other food items since 1993. Every day, she works from 5.30am to 4.30pm at her business and can earn a monthly profit of about $250 from her sales.

Rahel now hopes for a loan to buy more fruit and other food items for her business. She will share this loan with her subgroup member, Naitovuaki, who has also sells fruit and other food items.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
