Rognooma Group's story

Mamounata is the head of the Rognooma group. She is married, and has two children. Her oldest child is 8 and the youngest is 2, and one of them goes to school. She has two people under her care.

Mamounata has worked weaving and selling woven “pagnes” (traditional wrap-around cloth) for the past three years. She gets her supplies in a market in the area known as Sector 10, and her customers are both male and female. She wants to buy a ball of wool and 50 woven pagnes.

Mamounata wants to save her profits in order to expand her business, and she plans to improve her family’s living conditions.
