Muthame is a married man with one child. He lives in Tiribe, Mombasa where he works welding metals to support his family.
He is currently applying for a Kiva loan because he wants to strengthen his business more each time. He plans to use this loan to bulk buy metals for welding. He can buy them at a much better price than usual because with his Kiva loan, he has the capacity to buy wholesale. This will make the investment successful, and this is why he’ll be very competitive when he sells the products and will earn more each time.
