Consuelo's story

Consuelo S. C. has a business selling cheese, olives, and honey in the Mercado Victoria in La Esperanza, a suburb of Trujillo in La Libertad Region. She’s been selling her products in the market for 12 years and now has many loyal customers. Consuelo also owns a grill and sells barbequed meats in front of her home at night .



Consuelo is 38 years old, single, and doesn’t have any children. She lives with her mother and the two take care of each other. Her current goal is to save enough money to buy a permanent stand in the market so she doesn’t have to pay rent.
