Peninah's story

Peninah is 55 years old. She is a widow, the mother of five grown children. She is a poultry farmer, besides owning a hotel and a posho mill for grinding maize and other grains. She has been in the business for the past four years. She gets a monthly income of KES 10,000.

This will be her first loan through KADET LTD. She was introduced to us by one of our field officers. She will use the loan amount to purchase chicks and chicken feeds so as to boost her poultry farming.

She hopes to seek medical help for her heart problem after her business stabilizes.
