He is asking for a loan of eight hundred and fifty thousand Colones (¢850,000) to buy corn for seed, solid fertilizers, and fungicides to protect his plants during their development and avoid the appearance of mushrooms or fungus in his fields. He sells the harvested crops in an association in his locale and in this way he helps his parents, covers the costs of his studies, and makes headway in his other economic obligations. He wants to become a large scale producer and prosper and have a greater income for himself and his family and for this he needs to make his strongest effort toward his agricultural activities.
