Estevina's story

Estevina is 46 years old. She is single and has noe dependent children. She is an independent women who has a lot of energy and lives in her own home in a rural area near the city of Mochumi in northern Peru. She is a person who has always sought ways to get ahead and has been able to learn cattle ranching and farming and even selling beverages. The activity that Estevina has specialized in is raising and selling animals. She raises them in pens located in the back of her house and she sells them every two weeks. In addition, she makes and sells chicha. She has regular customers. She also farms and has planted 1 hectare of corn. Right now, she has decided to take out a loan of 1000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa with the support of Kiva, to maintain her different activities. In particular, she is asking for a loan to invest in animal feed and on agricultural labor costs.
