Talapsu Group's story

Maseray is the leader of this group of entrepreneurs. Maseray was born in Waterloo, a small town near Freetown, Sierra Leone’s capital city. She is married to a motor mechanic and the couple has 3 children – 2 of whom are attending secondary school and the other is not of school-going age. Maseray sells secondhand motor spare parts and has been doing this business for 8 years now.

With the help of this loan, Maseray and her group members will be able to expand their businesses, make more sales and consequently improve on their living conditions. Maseray will use her share of the loan (1,800,000 Sierra Leonean Leones) to buy used spare parts for motors at wholesale for resale.
