A loan of $575 helped a member purchase 10 traditional articles of women's clothing (pagne).

Wendyam Group's story

Mrs SAFIATA (seen with her hand raised in the photo) represents the WENDYAM group. She is married and the mother of two children aged between 7 and 4 years old, one of whom attends school. She also cares for three other people. She has been selling traditional women's clothing (called pagne) and liquid soap for the last three years in Burkina Faso. She stocks up at the market in Gounghin, and sells to female customers. She is hoping to purchase 10 pagnes with this loan. She would like to use the profits to obtain a shed for her business activity. She hopes to grow her sales and improve the living conditions of her family.

In this group: Safiata, Fatimata, Alizeta, Lamoussa, Edith, Kadiata
