A loan of $400 helped to pay tuition at the university that her third child attends.

Nancy's story

Nancy is married and has three children; two of them are independent. They live in a rented house, and they occupy two rooms. The house in in the Tembladerani area of the city of La Paz.

Nancy works as a public accountant in a private company for over eight hours. She does this because she needs to cover her family’s food and education expenses. She also has income from her husband’s retirement.

Nancy is requesting the loan to pay university expenses for her third child. He does not work yet, and the little that they earn is not enough to be able to pay for her son’s education.

Nancy’s dream is for her son to be a professional. She also dreams of having her own house in order to make her family safer and more comfortable. This way their income will improve.

This is the fifth time she has requested a loan from IMPRO and the first time with Kiva.
