A loan of $650 helped to purchase sheep and calves.

Uzul's story

Uzul lives in the Shahrituz region of Tajikistan. She's a 46-year-old widow raising 4 children. Uzul is very respectable and courageous. After her husband left her, she started breeding animals to make a living. She's very experienced in this area and that has helped her to expand her business and earn enough money to ensure her children's needs are met. Today, she runs her business with the assistance of her oldest son. This is their only source of income.

Uzul is asking for a loan in order to purchase some sheep and calves and increase the size of her herd. She plans to use some of the profits to pay for her sons wedding. She hopes for your help.
