Abra's story

A 44-year-old mother of one 12-year-old child who attends school, Ms. Abra is a dynamic woman who struggles every time to make ends meet in order to take care of her family. Since 2009, she has been selling general food products at a shop. She gets her supplies in Lomé and the difficulty she faces is the slowing down of purchases. She is on her first loan from WAGES and this will serve to obtain supplies of her merchandise. With her supplemental profits, she wants to buy rechargeable phone cards and general food items. In the future, she wants to become a wholesaler and see her child flourish.
