Mahoulome 3 Group's story

The group MAHOULOME 3 consists of fifteen members who all live in the same village. The group’s representative is Juliette, seen with her hand raised in the photo. To bolster their activities and better meet customer demand, the group is seeking financial assistance from ALIDé for the first time.

Juliette, age 45, never attended school. She is married to a reseller named Jean. The couple have three dependent children, all in school. Juliette and her husband live with their children, and the couple handle the various household responsibilities together. To that end, Juliette has been selling various products and cassava flour locally for eight years. She buys her stock in the area and at a market in Benin.

To strengthen their activities and better meet the needs of their customers, Juliette and the other members of MAHOULOME 3 are seeking a first loan from ALIDé. Their goal is to bolster their sales.
