A loan of $1,275 helped to buy scrunchies, hair pins, hair bands, bows, decorative ribbons and steel rings.

Enma Eutorgia's story

Enma lives in Portoviejo, a city which is well known for its excellent cuisine. She is 58 years old and happily married to Manuel who sells soft drinks in the city streets. Enma has been selling costume jewelry for six years. She started the business because she wanted to make her own income. The biggest advantage that she has in this business is that she doesn't have to offer credit because if her customers like something they pay straight away. She serves her customers at any hour of the day. Among the products she sells are scrunchies, hair pins, hair bands, bows, decorative ribbons, steel rings, etc. She sells these items individually or by the dozen. One of Enma's biggest dreams is to increase her sales so that she can expand her business. She is requesting this loan to buy merchandise that will help her to achieve this goal.
