Halim

Yemen
Sana'a, Yemen / Grocery Store

A loan of $1,400 helped buy merchandise for his store.

Halim's story

Halim is now 28 years old, married and has two children attending school. He runs a small store selling grocery items to the people in his town. His customers are mostly his neighbors who are looking for the affordable prices he offers.

Halim would like to earn more profits from his business, which is why he is asking for a youth loan of 300,000 YER from AMB to buy merchandise to sell in his store. He will buy canned good, biscuits, noodles and shampoo to sell. This will help increase sales capacity and will increase his profits too. He hopes to keep offering good service and affordable prices to his customers so that he will earn more income and be able to pay his children's school fees. He hopes his children will become professionals someday.
