A loan of $3,325 helped a member to buy supplies to make craftwork.

Limoncito Group's story

The communal bank Limoncito is made up of nine members who are all women. The president of the bank is Señora Dalcy who lives town of Limoncito from which the communal bank's name came. She is 49 years old and has a 21 year old son. Señora Dalcy makes and sells craftwork in her shop, which is found in the town where she lives.

This is the first loan for the institution, and Señora Dalcy will use it to buy supplies to make her craftwork. She hopes to improve her business with this loan by using the funds to buy additional supplies which will result in a better income. She desires to have a large craftwork shop to allow her to offer better service to her customers.

Señora Dalcy is a very hard-working person who feels happy to have the opportunity given to her and to the other members of the group who, in some cases, are the sole providers for their families.
