Ingrid Daniela's story

The members of the Community Bank Group "24th of May" meet every two weeks in the town of Rocafuerte, Ecuador. This place is famous throughout the country for the delicious sweets made by the locals.

Ingrid, who is 19 years old, lives here. She has a domestic partner with whom she has one son who is one year old. Her partner is a businessman.

She is requesting a loan for her partner's business, which consists of buying and selling fish. Ingrid's father has a truck which her ​​husband uses to travel to Pedernales, where he buys the fish. He then transports the fish to the city of Manta, an important Manabí port, where he delivers to companies. He has been in the business for more than two years and is earning very good income.

She will use this loan to buy fish. She has been with the Community Bank for two loan cycles. She likes being a member because the loans enable her to help her partner to finance his business, allowing them to earn a living.

Her dream is to own her own home and her own truck.
