Odilia's story

Sra. Odilia is 56 years old, married, and has three children. She lives in a suburban neighborhood in the city of San Pedro Sula, Cortes.

Doña Odilia has the support of her husband, who helps with covering the household expenses. She previously worked as a street vendor, but she needed to take care of her children and continue generating income. Therefore, she decided to open a grocery store where she sells consumer goods such as basic grains, condiments, meats, soft drinks, juices, bread, eggs, and grocery products. Odilia is motivated to continue her business with the help of the loans from ODEF. She will be able to maintain a stable and well-stocked business. Odilia attends to her customers for 16 hours a day.

She is requesting her third loan in the amount of 25,000 HNL so that she can restock her business by purchasing meats, basic grains, condiments, dairy products, sausages, soft drinks, bread, and other grocery products such as paper, dishwashing soap, bath soap, toothpaste, and other items. Odilia hopes to fulfill her commitment with ODEF so that she can grow her grocery store and better serve her customers. She wants to thank in advance those who believe in her and are providing her this opportunity.
