A loan of $550 helped to buy a freezer and more merchandise.

Rafael Antonio's story

(Note: the sector "cafe" was selected because "Ice cream shop" is not an option)
With a loan of 21,000 pesos, Rafael will be able to buy another freezer and more merchandise. Rafael opened his ice cream shop one year ago. This is a good business; because it is hot out, people are always walking around looking for something cold with which to get refreshed. Rafael's biggest challenge has been the electricity services; in his community service is suspended for at least eight hours every day. For this reason, Rafael wants to buy another freezer, so that he can keep more ice cream cold for a greater amount of time.
Rafael is married; his wife is a hair dresser. They have a four-year-old who is in preschool.
Rafael wants his business to grow and get stronger for his and his wife's sake, so that they can provide their child with a good education.
