Mab's Group's story

Mab, 43, is living in the rural area of Sangke district, Cambodia. He is a father of three dependent children who are students. To support their family, Mab and his wife have been selling dried fish and raising pigs for 24 years. He is able to earn about KHR 20,000 per day from his current businesses.

Mab has been with VisionFund for one cycle and completely paid back the past loan while the other member of his group is a newly joined client for this cycle. He is leading this group to apply for a loan of KHR 900,000 each. He, the group leader, is going to use his portion to buy more piglets to raise and fish for making dried fish for sale. With this loan, Mab hopes to earn more income to allow his family to live in a better lifestyle and keep the children in school.
