A loan of $2,125 helped to purchase livestock.

Railkhon's story

Railkhon lives with her family in the village of Uch-korgon in the south of Kyrgyzstan. Like many families in rural areas, Railkhon and her husband raise livestock and grow garden produce, having launched this business some 30 years ago. At present, Railkhon’s farm allows her to earn about 10,000 KGS per month. In order to develop her business further, Railkhon turned to “Bai Tushum & Partners” for a loan in the amount of 100,00 KGS to purchase sheep for fattening and resale. In order to save on the cost of feed, the sheep will be sent to a summer pasture. Railkhon plans to use her revenues for building a shed.
