A loan of $775 helped to buy manure and fertilizer.

Vitaliano's story

Vitaliano, 33, lives with his partner, an agricultural worker. His home is in the city of Camaná, known for its agriculture, especially its rice, considered some of the best in the world. They also grow butter beans, beans, and corn, among other products. Vitaliano and his wife have two small children, ages 4 and 7, for whom they work very hard and with a lot of love and honesty so they will have a decent life.

When he has some free time he likes to watch movies and enjoy with his family one of his favorite dishes, the delicious spicy "cochayuyo." Because of his parents' limited resources he only finished secondary school, but he would have liked to study veterinary medicine.

Every day Vialiano works on his cotton crop. He spends about 10 hours a day on his job because he is very careful to irrigate his crop and especially verify whether he has any pests or if the plants are growing correctly. He believes it is going well for him in his job because he is very careful and responsible.

Vitaliano is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because thanks to their help he will be able to buy manure and fertilizer for his crops. With this improvement he will be able to get a good harvest and his crop will grow without any problems. This way he will be able to improve his income and fight to make his biggest dream come true: "To give his children a profession."
