A loan of $700 helped to buy stucco and paint and to pay for repairs to the doors and windows.

Nilton's story

Nilton is married and has two children who are of school age. They live at his mother’s house where they occupy two small rooms with adobe walls. The house is located in the District of Las Delicias in the city of La Paz.

Nilton currently works as a chauffeur for more than 10 hours each day. He works into the late hours of the evening so that he can provide for the costs of food, education, and basic services for his family. The loan he is requesting will be used to buy stucco and paint for repairing the interior of his rooms and to pay for repairs to the doors and windows so that his family will have more security.

Nilton’s dream is to earn more income and obtain a rental property so that he can improve his quality of life and be more comfortable. This is the first time he is requesting a loan from IMPRO and Kiva.
