A loan of $775 helped to travel to the capital city to stock her business with more clothing.

Olimpia's story

Olimpia is 29 years old. She is a cheerful and very hard-working woman. She is married to 32-year-old Mauth and the couple have four children. They live in their own home which they bought thanks to the years they have been living together.

Olimpia has been selling clothing for nine years. She finds it easier to have her sales location near her home because it saves her time and she is therefore able to make breakfast and lunch for her family. The good thing about her business is that she has a large number of customers who come to visit her knowing that they will find clothes to suit their tastes. Her business success lies in the good service she provides and the fact that she sells her merchandise at reasonable prices.

This is Olimpia's 11th loan from MFP and she feels happy to know that she will once again have financial support. Within her community bank, she is punctual in making her loan repayments and she feels grateful that she is able to work with supportive people.

Olimpia will use her 2,000 soles to travel to the city of Lima to buy a wider range of clothes. She will also buy some mannequins to display the clothing.
