A loan of $2,425 helped to purchase sheep.

Balakhanum's story

Balakhanum is 43 years old. She lives in a small village in Gardabi District with her family: her husband, Elkhan, and their three children (12, 18 and 19 years old). The youngest child studies in the village school, and the elder children help their parents in the family business. The family earns their living through agricultural business. They have a plot of land, where various greens are grown. They sell greens on the local open market. Balakhanum and Elkhan also have 10 calves; they raise them and sell them after several months.

Balakhanum and Elkhan requested a credit to expand their agricultural business. They plan to purchase sheep and raise them. They will sell them after several months for a higher price. They hope to receive a good profit. With increased profit they will be able to reinvest in the family agricultural business to expand sheep breeding and cattle breeding. This will positively influence the income of the family. Taking into account the above-mentioned, the living conditions of the family will be improved. Balakhanum and Elkhan hope for your help and kindness.
