A loan of $500 helped to buy corn, corn husks, vegetables, and firewood to sell.

Riziki's story

With her previous Kiva loan, Riziki bought wheat flour, beans, and milk that she sold, increasing her working capital slightly. Now she is applying for a new Kiva loan, because the number of customers has increased. Riziki now has an established clientele, and her working capital is insufficient to meet the growth in demand.

This is the reason her Kiva loan will be successful. She will be able to respond to demand and buy corn, corn husks, vegetables, and firewood at a good price.

Riziki wants lenders to know that her Kiva loans have been very useful to her. She says "thank you," and may they continue helping her.
