Mathew A.'s Group's story

These are teachers at a vocational institute in the city of Kenema, in Eastern Sierra Leone. This group of teachers has come to SMT, a partner of Kiva.org in Makeni, Northern Sierra Leone, to seek their first loan from Kiva lenders. They are requesting a loan of 5,900,000 Sierra Leonean Leones (SLL), and each member will use his portion to buy or invest in something that their salaries cannot let them do.
